Greetings in the name of Jesus. We are the Brumfield family, a Protestant Christian family from the USA. We've
been living full time in Mexico as missionaries for more than three
years now. Our home is
located in San Juan Cosala, a small pueblo located among the magnificent beauty of God's special
creation;
the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico.
I’m Barry, and I'm 56 years old. I retired from commercial photography
three years past, and for the last ten years have worked as a web designer, graphic
artist, and writer.

My wife, Madeliene, and I have been married for 33 years. She is now retired after 33 years as an elementary school
teacher. She is a rare and brave servant to God in that she managed to present the Christian Gospel to her students in American public schools for
the last thirty-three years. Although she came up against much opposition, God's will prevailed and she was able to reach the hearts of her students with the Word of Salvation every year.
Her
ministry includes presenting the Gospel
through home bible studies for women and girls of the village, and also teaching ESL, art, health, and hygiene.
I have previous experience over the last fifteen years in Missionary support and aid to the poor in Mexico, which brought me to have a great love for the Mexican people. We asked God to allow us to serve Him with the remaining years of our life, and we are in prayerful agreement that He has called us here to Mexico.
God
continues to bless us with a small income from Internet businesses
I’ve owned for the last ten years. My E-Commerce businesses, in which I sell Domain Name
registrations and Web Hosting services are located in web servers in the
USA, from which I can maintain the web sites from anywhere in the world
via satellite/phone access. I
also own Christian web sites online that teach the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.
We are completely
self-supporting for all of our personal needs here in Mexico.
In preparation of moving to Mexico, we sold our home, and sold and gave away most of our belongings other than basic furnishings and small items that are sentimental to us. Being unencumbered by too many material things has freed us to serve God where ever, and for ever how long He desires to use us. We are currently leasing a home here in Mexico at a fraction of the price for what a comparable US home would cost us. Our home is open to anyone that desires to come for a mission trip to share in the work we do here in Mexico.
